High potential and gifted education
All students are catered for in all Key Learning Areas. Learning programs are adjusted to suit all learning needs including high potential and gifted students. Students with high potential are supported with tailored activities that challenge them to work at a faster pace and explore more complex and deeper ideas. Tasks encourage them to develop advanced creative and critical thinking skills through all aspects of the curriculum.
High Potential and Gifted Education (HPGE) opportunities are offered at Warrawee PS to develop student talent across the four domains of potential. We support our HPG students through enrichment, extension and extra-curricular programs, inter-school programs and competitions, and representative sport pathways.
What is high potential and gifted education?
