Warrawee P&C has developed an official Community Partnership Program - in line with the Department of Education Sponsorship Unit - to help support our fundraising efforts and social events. Many schools are implementing this model to assist with their fundraising as increasingly limited availability of volunteers can sometimes make fundraising an uphill battle.
The P&C Executive in 2016 worked hard to ensure that this Community Partnership model established formal processes to ensure all objectives, transparency and opportunity for all complying businesses could be achieved.
It is important to note that when a community partner joins the P&C, neither the school or the P&C are "endorsing" that business. We are simply noting that if parents are interested in the products or services offered by our community partners they may wish to give these partners an opportunity to gain their business.
We trust that our school community will embrace the Community Partnership Program and its potential to foster a wonderful community spirit for our school and enable us to continue to provide resources for our children.
If your business, or others known to you, are interested in supporting the school financially please review the guidelines and criteria necessary to become a Community Partner and submit your proposal to president@wpspandc.org
